Wake up and bake: Oven-friendly breakfast recipes 

There are moments when the last thing we want to do when we wake up is stand over the stove with all the burners burning.

The apple mixture must first be simmered on the stove, but once each little pouch of goodness is prepared, the oven is where the true magic happens. 

Try preparing your bacon in the oven if you want to cut down on oil and the amount of time you spend standing over a stove. 

You don't have to stir, flip, or risk getting burned by hot fat droplets flying everywhere when it cooks to a beautiful crisp. 

Simply combine, knead, boil (for a mere 45 seconds on each side), and bake.
